Are Pets Allowed?

Pets are allowed with a specific contract signed and an additional $15 pet fee.

We are all for it! But we would appreciate if you keep it PG-13. Nudity/sex acts will not be allowed or tolerated. If you have questions please contact us directly. **Please ensure your clients/models know our rules before booking the space.

The NO’ NO’s!

NO:

Vaping/smoking - candles/flames/fire -no tape (command strips and painters tape are okay) - no illegal drugs - no altering the plants - no glitter - no dirty shoes — please use furniture sliders THAT ARE ON THE FURNITURE to move furniture. Do not damage the floor! You may remove the sliders for photos, but once you are ready to move the furniture, you MUST put them back in place.

Leaving The LightBox

Leave it better than you found it. Please dispose of all trash, put props and couches back where you found them, wipe up any messes, and ensure door is locked. Let’s keep the space put together for each other!

Cleaning Up

There are cleaning supplies located in the basket in the mini room as well as a broom and a mop. Please be diligent and kind when you are renting the space. If you run into issues, please contact us directly.

During Your Session

As you will hear, people upstairs walk around (they are great!) and so the people downstairs also hear us. St. James Square is an old building with beautiful character and, of course, comes with these small nuisances that old buildings do! We ask that you keep the footsteps light, the kid screams to a minimum, and the music to an acceptable volume. We have great neighbors and we want to respect them. Any complaints during your session reported to us may result in termination of your use of The LightBox for further inquiries.

You Break It (or Your Client) You Buy It!

We TOTALLY understand accidents happen. We just ask that if something gets broken, you let us know and we will bill you to replace or fix it. This includes scratches to the floor, broken props, couches, lighting equipment, windows, and anything on the outside of the building.

Respect

Please respect the time you rented the space as someone may be using the space directly after you. Please respect our neighbors in the building. You will notice people roaming the halls as other businesses reside in Saint James Square. Please respect sound levels and the studio space. We are SO grateful to be able to offer this, and we need your help in maintaining all aspects.

Security

The Lightbox is locked by key upon your arrival. Please make sure to lock the door behind you and replace the key back into the lockbox before you leave. Our studio does have a security camera in which film will be reviewed upon your departure for the safety of both you and us.
